It’s a day where we celebrate the #unbreakable human spirit to overcome breast cancer. It’s a day when survivors, family, friends and cricket fans young and old, dress up in pink in support of breast cancer sufferers and their families.
It’s a day where we raise awareness and funds for the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital Breast Care Clinic, who work tirelessly every day to beat it. It’s also the day that we remember, joyously, the brave people who died from breast cancer.
In fact, Pink Day and dressing up in pink has become so synonymous with the cause that wherever, whenever you #PitchUpInPink and #PledgePink you’re doing your bit.
