Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, purchases, event packages, hospitality packages, tickets and related services purchased through or arranged by Regal Events (“Regal Events”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By making a booking, purchasing a ticket or package, submitting a booking request, or attending an event arranged or promoted by Regal Events, you (“the Customer”, “Guest”, “Attendee” or “you”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT

All bookings are subject to availability and are only considered confirmed once the required payment has been received and confirmation has been issued by Regal Events.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied during the booking process, including names, contact details and event information, is accurate.

Prices displayed or quoted are in South African Rand (ZAR), unless otherwise stated.

Regal Events reserves the right to amend pricing prior to a booking being confirmed. Once a booking has been confirmed and paid for, the agreed price will apply unless additional products or services are subsequently requested by the Customer.

Where a deposit or payment plan is permitted, the applicable payment deadlines will be communicated at the time of booking. Failure to make payment by the required deadline may result in cancellation of the booking and/or forfeiture of amounts already paid, subject to applicable South African consumer law.

2. TICKETS AND EVENT PACKAGES

Tickets, hospitality packages and event packages are subject to the specific rules, terms and conditions imposed by the relevant event organiser, venue, sporting body, promoter, ticketing provider or other third-party supplier.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all booking details and ensuring that they purchase the correct event, date, package and quantity before completing payment.

Where Regal Events provides packages incorporating services supplied by third parties, those components remain subject to the availability and operating conditions of the relevant supplier.

3. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Customers wishing to cancel a booking must submit their cancellation request to Regal Events in writing.

More than 30 days before the event

Cancellation requests received more than 30 calendar days before the scheduled event date may be considered for a refund, subject to any reasonable cancellation or administration charges and any non-refundable costs already incurred by Regal Events or its suppliers.

Any refund eligibility may also be affected by the cancellation terms imposed by the relevant venue, event organiser, ticketing provider or third-party supplier.

30 days or less before the event

No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 30 calendar days of the scheduled event date.

This includes, but is not limited to, cancellations resulting from:

  • Changes in personal circumstances;
  • Inability to attend;
  • Work or personal commitments;
  • Illness or other circumstances affecting an individual attendee; or
  • Failure to arrive at or attend the event.

Where applicable law provides the Customer with rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, those rights will continue to apply.

No-shows

Customers who fail to attend an event without prior cancellation will not be entitled to a refund, credit or replacement booking.

4. EVENT CANCELLATIONS, POSTPONEMENTS AND CHANGES

Events are sometimes subject to circumstances outside the control of Regal Events.

The event organiser, venue, sporting body, artist, promoter or other relevant party may change an event’s date, time, venue, programme, participants, performers, fixtures or other arrangements.

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the Customer’s booking will generally remain valid for the rescheduled event, subject to the policies of the relevant organiser or supplier.

If an event is cancelled entirely, Regal Events will communicate the available options to affected Customers once these have been confirmed by the relevant organiser or supplier.

Refunds arising from event cancellation or postponement may be subject to the refund policies of the event organiser, venue, ticket provider or supplier and may exclude booking fees, administration fees or other costs that cannot be recovered.

Regal Events cannot guarantee that any particular player, team, artist, performer, speaker or other participant will appear at an event unless expressly guaranteed as part of the booking.

5. FORCE MAJEURE

Regal Events will not be held responsible for failure to provide, or delays in providing, services caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control.

These circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flooding, strikes, civil unrest, government restrictions, public health emergencies, power failures, venue closures, security concerns, acts of terrorism or other unforeseen circumstances.

Where an event is affected by such circumstances, Regal Events will endeavour to communicate available alternatives, postponements, credits or refunds where applicable and subject to the policies of the relevant suppliers and applicable law.

6. TICKET DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

Where tickets or event documentation are supplied electronically, Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and/or mobile number and ensuring that they can access the relevant tickets before attending the event.

Where physical tickets, accreditation, wristbands or hospitality passes must be collected, Customers must comply with the collection instructions supplied by Regal Events.

Regal Events is not responsible for tickets, passes or accreditation lost after successful delivery or collection.

7. TRANSFERS AND NAME CHANGES

Requests to transfer a booking or change the name of an attendee must be submitted to Regal Events before the event.

Transfers and name changes are not guaranteed and may be subject to the rules of the relevant event organiser, venue or ticketing provider.

An administration fee and/or supplier fee may apply to approved changes.

Tickets or packages may not be resold for commercial gain without prior written permission from Regal Events and where applicable the relevant event organiser.

8. EVENT ENTRY

Admission remains subject to the rules and policies of the applicable venue and event organiser.

Customers and their guests may be required to present valid identification, tickets, accreditation or other documentation before entry.

Regal Events cannot accept responsibility where a Customer is refused admission due to failure to comply with venue requirements, security procedures, age restrictions, dress codes, prohibited-item policies or other applicable event rules.

Being refused entry or being removed from an event for violating event or venue rules does not automatically entitle the Customer to a refund.

9. CUSTOMER AND GUEST CONDUCT

Customers are responsible for their own conduct and, where a booking is made on behalf of multiple attendees, for ensuring that their guests are aware of the applicable event and venue rules.

Regal Events and/or the relevant venue reserve the right to refuse admission or require an attendee to leave where their behaviour is unlawful, disruptive, abusive, threatening, unsafe or otherwise inappropriate.

No refund will ordinarily be issued where an attendee is removed from an event because of their own conduct.

10. ALCOHOL

Where alcoholic beverages are available as part of an event or hospitality package, alcohol may only be supplied to persons who meet the applicable legal drinking-age requirements.

Regal Events, venues and hospitality providers reserve the right to refuse alcohol service where required by law or where an individual’s behaviour creates a safety or security concern.

11. CHILDREN AND MINORS

Certain events may have age restrictions or special requirements relating to minors.

Parents and guardians are responsible for confirming that an event is appropriate for children before booking and for ensuring that minors remain appropriately supervised.

Where an event organiser or venue imposes specific age restrictions, those restrictions will apply regardless of whether a booking has been completed.

12. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND MEDIA

Photography and video recording may take place at events for promotional, marketing, editorial and social media purposes.

By attending an event, attendees acknowledge that they may incidentally appear in photographs or video footage captured in public or event areas, subject to applicable law.

Where individual or prominently featured promotional content is required, Regal Events will handle such content in accordance with applicable consent and privacy requirements.

13. PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY

Regal Events respects the privacy of its Customers and processes personal information in accordance with applicable South African data protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Personal information may be collected and processed where reasonably necessary to:

  • Process and manage bookings;
  • Provide tickets, event information and Customer support;
  • Communicate important event updates;
  • Process payments;
  • Coordinate services with relevant event partners and suppliers;
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and
  • Send marketing communications where permitted by law or where appropriate consent has been obtained.

Personal information will not be sold to third parties.

Information may be shared with trusted partners, venues, ticketing providers, payment processors and service providers where reasonably necessary to fulfil a booking or provide the requested services.

Regal Events will take reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Regal Events may act as an intermediary between Customers and third-party event organisers, venues, ticketing providers, caterers and other suppliers.

Although Regal Events takes reasonable care when selecting and coordinating suppliers, certain services are ultimately provided and controlled by those third parties.

Regal Events cannot be held responsible for acts, omissions, delays or service failures of third parties to the extent that these circumstances fall outside Regal Events’ reasonable control, subject always to applicable law.

15. WEBSITE INFORMATION

Regal Events takes reasonable steps to ensure that event information, pricing, availability, descriptions and images displayed on its website are accurate.

However, event information may change after publication.

Regal Events reserves the right to correct genuine errors or omissions on the website. If a material error affects an existing booking, we will contact the affected Customer where reasonably possible.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Regal Events will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Customers remain responsible for their personal belongings while attending events.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded under South African law, including rights available under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where applicable.

17. COMMUNICATION

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information when booking.

Regal Events may communicate booking confirmations, tickets, schedule changes, venue information and other important notices using the email address, telephone number or other contact details supplied by the Customer.

Customers are responsible for monitoring these communication channels before the event.

18. PROMOTIONAL COMMUNICATIONS

Where a Customer has provided the necessary consent or where otherwise permitted by applicable law, Regal Events may send information regarding upcoming events, hospitality packages, special offers and related services.

Customers may unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism provided or by contacting Regal Events.

Operational communications relating to an existing booking are not considered promotional communications and may still be sent where necessary to fulfil the booking.

19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Regal Events may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to its services, operational requirements or applicable law.

The version applicable to a booking will generally be the version in effect at the time the booking is made, unless a change is required by law.

20. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions or services supplied by Regal Events will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law and the jurisdiction of the appropriate South African courts or dispute-resolution bodies.

21. CONTACT

Questions regarding bookings, cancellations, refunds or these Terms & Conditions should be directed to Regal Events through the official contact details provided on the Regal Events website.

By completing a booking or purchasing an event package through Regal Events, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
